ILIA aka Leigh Ann Lemire (1956-present) was born in Waterbury, Connecticut, to first generation American parents. She started writing prose at the age of fifteen.

She is presently working on a series of original modern day fairy tales that can be found at winsometales.com and a series of fantasy books, the series is titles Ladies of the Orb.

ILIA is the author of the modern day fairy tales: The Handiwork Clash, The Bouncing Boy, A Christmas Fairy Tale, and Ti Ana and The Giant – which are page turning delightful stories that not only entertain but deliver messages of success. Her poetry, along with other poets, has been published in the book Bamboo Souls – Poetic Visions for a Better World and she is the co-author of the Cat Chat Book.

Articles by ILIA are published in One Planet Magazine, Craft Bantor and Qassia besides being the author of the Help 2 Succeed blog which has been online since 2007.

ILIA is a member of Author Mania, Fantasy Writing and Mike’s Writing Workshop groups.

Being a multi-talented artist, ILIA has creations in other media: fine art, illustrations, and designs.

Her fine art paintings have been displayed at various art shows in Los Angeles and in the Valley of the Sun – Phoenix, Arizona. She has been a guest on the Hollywood Television Show “Journey to the Cosmos”.
